AECM-82/581 AECM-83/0639 In a recent telephone conversation between Miscicsippi Power & Light Company (MP&L) and members of the Division of Licensing of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on October 4, 1983 and a subsequent telecopy received by MP&L froe the NRC, several items were identified as requiring resolution prior to full power licensing. Item H)(3) of the telecopy requires submittal of a letter confirming installation of a mechanical pressure gauge in the ADS Air Makeup Line and performance of an associated surveillance. MP&L committed to install the mechanical pressure gauge and implement an associated surveillance in Item 4 of AECM-82/581, dated December 20, 1982.
A permanent mechanical pressure gauge was installed on the ADS Air Makeup Line prior to recriticality under Design Change Package (DCP) 82-0778.
Surveillance Procedure 06-OP-1000-D-001 Revision 20 requires daily reading of this gange. Action e.2 of Technical Specification 3.5.1 is applicable if the gauge reads less than 150 psig.
