By letter dated March 26, 2013 (Reference 1), Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) submitted a request for an amendment to Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 1 (ANO-1) Technical Specifications (TS) to incorporate the NRC-approved Technical Specification Task Force (TSTF)-431, Revision 3, Change in Technical Specifications End States (BAW-2441). The marked-up and revised TS pages submitted in support of TSTF-431 adoption included proposed TS changes supporting adoption of TSTF-500, Revision 2, DC Electrical Rewrite - Update to TSTF-360, which had been previously submitted for NRC review.
An Entergy response to an NRC Request for Additional Information (RAI) associated with adoption of TSTF-500 (Reference 6) resulted in a change to a TS page common to both the TSTF-500 and TSTF-431 amendment requests. Therefore, TSTF-431 related ANO-1 TS Page 3.8.4-2 mark-up and revised (clean) replacement pages are included in Attachments 1 and 2 of this letter, respectively, which incorporate the changes to this page made in response to Question 7 of the subject TSTF-500 RAI (Reference 6).
With respect to the original Entergy request (Reference 1), changes included in this letter have been evaluated and Entergy has determined that the changes do not invalidate the assessment of the no significant hazards consideration included in the reference letter, nor affect the applicability and acceptability of ANO-1 adoption of TSTF-431.
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.91(b)(1), a copy of this application is being provided to the designated Arkansas state official.

DC Sources - Operating 3.8.4 SURVEILLANCE REQUIREMENTS SURVEILLANCE                                                  FREQUENCY SR 3.8.4.1   Verify battery terminal voltage is greater than or equal                 7 days to the minimum established float voltage.
SR 3.8.4.2   Verify each battery charger supplies  300 amps at                       18 months greater than or equal to the minimum established float voltage for  8 hours.
OR Verify each battery charger can recharge the battery to the fully charged state within 24 hours while supplying the largest combined demands of the various continuous steady state loads, after a battery discharge to the bounding design basis event discharge state.
