Our previous letter to you on this subject committed to a supplemental report by March 15, 1987. However, that commitment was contingent upon the completion of a Root Cause Investigation 0         of the subject LER.            Due to the occurrence of several related events, documented as LERs, this Root Cause investigation has been expanded to include all previous similar events, thus resulting in a revised completion date for the Root Cause investigation.
The revised completion date for the expanded Root Cause results in a parallel revision of the completion date of the supplement to LER 86-28. The supplement will be completed in August 1987.
