The supplemental report 96-020-01 that was submitted on December 16,1996, indicated that an additional supplement was intended. However, this was actually in error since no additional                     ,

The following are Northeast Nuclear Energy Company's (NNECO's) commitments made within                          !
this letter. All other statements made within this letter are for information only.                             !
B15674-1          NNECO commits to revise design calculations to correctly identify the usable volume of the condensate storage tank (CST). This will be completed prior to startup for operating cycle 16.

U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission B16212\Page 2 of 2 B15674-4       NNECO commits to provide procedural guidance, as the long-term corrective action, for maintaining appropriate levels in the CST while the torus is drained.
NNECO will complete this prior to shutdown for refueling outage 16.
Administrative controls will remain in place to prevent torus draining, until such procedural controls for emergency core cooling system flow throttling are put in   ;
place.
