Gentlemen:
On September 2, 1987, we verbally notified your Mr. H. S. Phillips of a deficiency identified during the design validation piocess involving the Service Water Discharge Structure. This is an intarim report of a potentially reportable item under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e). Our last report on this issue was logged TXX-6800, dated October 2, 1987.
We are continuing our evaluation and our next report on this issue will be submitted no later than February 15, 1988.
