i          Enclosed please find the Westinghouse summary "T/H Uncertainty Resolution Process for AP600                             ,
Passive System Reliability." This enclosure is in response to the NRC Technical Staff request that Westinghouse provide a written summary of what will be discussed at the next thermal-hydraulic uncertainty meeting. By allowing the staff to study information that will be presented, the staff will be in a position to provide detailed comments on the resolution plan.
Westinghouse and the NRC will meet on August 7,1996 to continue discussions on the T-H
;          uncertainty resolution process. Prior to this meeting, the staff should review the enclosed material.                   i At the meeting, we will discuss the process Westinghouse is pursuing to resolve this issue, and to obtain feedback from the staff on the enclosed material. Westinghouse is working on the activities as they are spelled out in the enclosure. Feedback from the staff at the August 7 meeting is essential to                  ,
appropriately expend resources and maintain momentum on the path to resolving this issue,
