: 1. Clarify whether the replacement parts are identical to the original parts and were purchased from the original vendors.      If not, list all critical characteristics of these parts and verify that the replacement parts have the equivalent characteristics and level of quality as the original parts;

===Response===
The parts have not yet been procured. Each relief request identifies the original vendor as the vendor of the replacement parts. No relief is being requested from code design requirements.
Replacement parts will have the same functional characteristics as the original parts.
Requested Information
: 2. Article IWA-7000 of the ASME Code, Section XI requires that replacement parts should meet the requirements of the edition of the Construction Code to which the original parts were constructed.
Identify the Code editions of the original parts and verify that the replacement parts meet all Code requirements except for ASHE certification; and
>          Response:
This item has been addressed in Item 1 of the alternate testing section of the original relief requests. In order to comply with this item, all parts shall meet the original construction code unless changes are reconciled with the design specification as described in IWA-7210. The alternate testing proposed by Illinois Power (IP) ensures that code requirements except certification and stamping are met.
Requested Information
: 3. As required by IWA-7000, if replacement parts are needed due to the failure of the original parta, an evaluation must be provided to ensure that the selected replacement parts are suitable.

===Response===
A replacement evaluation is performed for each replacement as required by IWA 7000. Implementation of the replacement evaluation is described in the Clinton Power Station Inservice Inspection program manual. No relief from the evaluation requirements is being requested.
