Gas Company (SCE&G) to report results of the pressurizer butt weld volumetric inspections or mitigation actions to the NRC 60 days after plant start up. This response was provided on May 23, 2008, through Reference 2. An additional response (Reference 3) submitted the stress analysis summary associated with the weld overlay inspections.
Additionally, Reference 1 required SCE&G to notify the Director, Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation, in writing when the actions and commitments addressed in the Confirmatory Action Letter were complete. This letter serves to inform you that the actions and commitments necessary to comply with the Confirmatory Action Letter of March 15, 2007 are complete and documented in the referenced documents.
