3pecifically, Calibration procedures and standards may be inadequate or inaccurate which could render the accuracy of measuring instruments or other equipment under the provisions of iOCFR50.55(e) port of a potentially reportable item indeterminate.

Further evaluation is required to determine the potential impact of this deficiency on the safe operation of the plant. Our next report on this issue wili be submitted no later than January 23, 1989.
