Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) hereby submits this notification of a regulatory commitment change for St. Lucie Units 1 and 2. Reference 1 Section 3.0.3.3.23 documented that Appendix A 1 - Unit 1 Updated Final Safety Analysis Report Supplement in Reference 2 provided commitments, i.e., Table 19-3, List of Unit 1 SLR Commitments and Implementation Schedule. Commitment #30 regarding Buried and Underground Piping and Tanks included a schedule to install cathodic protection systems no later than 10 years prior to the subsequent period of extended operation (SPEO) (03/01/2026).

St. Lucie Unit 1 cathodic protection systems will be installed and operational by the end of 2029; consequently, Buried and Underground Piping and Tanks Program inspections will be delayed to the end of 2029. FPL is revising the Implementation Schedule of Commitment

"Program inspections begin 6 years before the SPEO. Inspections that are to be completed prior to the SPEO are completed 6 months prior to the SPEO or no later than the last refueling outage prior to the SPEO. Install cathodic protection systems at least 6 years before the SPEO. Program and SLR enhancements are implemented 6 months prior to the SPEO, i.e.: PSL 1: 09/01/2035 "
