Hatch Nuclear Plant - Units 1 and 2 Supplement to Application to Revise Technical Specifications to Adopt TSTF-568, Revise Applicability of BWR/4 TS 3.6.2.5 and TS 3.6.3.2 Ladies and Gentlemen:

By letter dated June 12, 2020 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML20164A278) Southern Nuclear Operating Company (SNC) submitted a request for amendments to the Technical Specifications (TS) for Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant (HNP), Units 1 and 2. SNC requested adoption of Technical Specification Task Force (TSTF)

Traveler 568 (TSTF-568), Revise Applicability of BWR/4 TS 3.6.2.5 and TS 3.6.3.2.

In the license amendment request it was determined that the Environmental Evaluation contained two errors transcribed from TSTF-568. The enclosure to this letter contains the revised Environmental Evaluation which supersedes the previous submittal. The revision does not alter the conclusion of the previous Environmental Evaluation.

In addition, the conclusions of the No Significant Hazards Consideration contained in the application have been reviewed and are unaffected by this response.

In accordance with 10 CFR 50.91, a copy of this supplement, with enclosure, is being provided to the designated Georgia Official.

There are no regulatory commitments made in this submittal.

If you should have any questions regarding this submittal, please contact Jamie Coleman at 205.992.6611.
