STN 50-498, STN 50-499 Annual Environmental and Annual Radiological Environmental Operatine Reports for 1996 South Texas Project submits the attached corrected report for the Annual Environmental and Annual Radiological Environmental Operating Reports for 1996. The original report sent to j
the Nuclear Regulatory Commission dated May 1,1997 (ST-HL-AE-5641), omitted one of the station's co-owners from the site description, incorrectly labeled a pie graph in Figure 8 as illustrating " intra"-laboratory comparison quality assurance program performance (the correct label is " inter"-laboratory comparison) and did not update the Radiological Environmental Monitoring Program Zone Location Map in Figure 2 to indicate a facility change from Oxychem to Lyondell Petrochemical Company (located east of South Texas Project). Correction decals have been utilized to replace the description of the station co-owners.
