On April 1, 1997, Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) transmitted License Change Request (LCR) 97-08 to the NRC.
The purpose of this submittal is to provide revised marked-up pages to address NRC reviewer comments.
The changes are as follows:
1.
Deleting the first Appendix 3 exemption in Section 2.D of the operating license.
This exemption would no longer be necessary with the adoption of Option B.
I 2.
Changing " Primary Containment Leakage Rate Program" to l
Primary Containment Leakage Rate Testing Program" on Pages 3/4 6-1 and 3/4 6-2.
This makes the name of the program consistent with its name on other marked-up pages.
3.
In the description of the leakage testing program in Specification 6.8.4.e, two changes are made to the air lock testing acceptance criteria.
The first involves adding the word " door' to the phrase " seal leakage" for clarification.
The second change involves adding the phrase " greater than or equal to" before the 10.0 psig test pressure.

These changes are editorial in nature and do not affect the i
significant hazards analysis submitted in the original LCR.
A complete set of marked.-up pages that include the revised pages is contained in the attachment to this letter.
