Dear Mr. Youngblood:
Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 3 Environmental Qualification of Safety-Related Mechanical Equipment In Reference (1), Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO) provided information regarding the environmental qualification of safety-related mechanical equipment (the Report) located in harsh environment areas at Millstone Unit No. 3. The report has been updated to include the conformance review sheets and subcompartment data sheets for the remaining safety-related mechanical equipment that were not included in the original report.
The conformance review sheets list all equipment purchased under the specifications reviewed under this program and provide the qualification status for each. The subcomponent data sheets provide the listing of non-metallics used in each component evaluated and the results of the evaluation for that component. A revised copy of the master list is also included which shows the status of all safety-related mechanical equipment evaluated under this program.
