EVENT DESCRIPTION AND PROBABLY CONSEQUENCES 10 l1l1l l0n 12/14/82, while performina the 'B' once-throuah steam aenerator (OTSG) tubino surveillance durina the l l1l1l. lrefuelina outaae, addy current testina revealed 5 tubes with areater than or equal to 40% through wall indi- l l1l_Tl Ications. These results caused entry into the C-3 category as defined by T.S. 4.18 since areater than 1% of thel l1l1l l tubes in the random sample were defective. The tubes are located in an expanded lane reofon adjacent to but l l111l Inot in the Group A-1 (lane reoion) defined by T.S. 4.18.3.a.3.(1) and outside the Group A-2 defined by T.S. l l1l11 l4.18.3.a.3.(2). This occurrence is reportable per T.S. 4.18 and T.S. 6.12.3.1.(c). Other occurrences regard- l lllTl lina steam cenerator tube problems were reported on LER's82-012, 80-034,80-026 and 78-005.
