Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station Organizational Changes

Dear Sir:

Pursuant to Section 50.59 of the Commissions' Rules and Regulations , Vermont Yankee hereby proposes the following modification to Appendix A of the Operating License.

Proposed Change Replace pages 190, 191, 192, 194, 195, 196, 197, 198 and 206 of the Vermont Yankee Technical Specifications to reflect the proposed organizational structure of the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station. This submittal also reflects changes in the Vermont Yankee corporate structure brought about as a result of the recent appointment of the former Vice President and Manager of Operations to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer.

Reason for Change The proposed change addresses a change in the titles of the Plant Superintendent and Assistant Plant Superintendent to the Plant Manager and Assistant Plant Manager respectively, the creation of Operations Superintendent and Technical Services Superintendent positions and updates page 194, Section 6.7.A.1 Plant Operations Review Committee membership.

Safety Considerations This proposed change is administrative in nature.

This proposed change has been reviewed by the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Safety Audit and Review Committee.

U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission August 4, 1981 Attention: Office of. Nuclear Reactor Regulation Page 2 Fee Determination This change is pro forma, administrative in nature, and has no safety or environmental significance. For these reasons, Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Corporation proposes this change as a Class II Amendment which requires a fee payment of $1,200.00. A payment of $1,200.00 is enclosed.

Schedule of Change The changes described above will be incorporated into the Vermont Yankee Technical Specifications upon receipt of your approval.
