Steam Generator Tubinc. and Component Sunnorts l' Enclosed are four.(4) copies of the Houston Lighting and Power Company Inservice Inspection (ISI) Summary Report entitled, "1RE01 Inservice Inspection Summary Report for Welds, Steam Generator Tubing, and Component Supports of the South Texas Project Electric Generating Station, Unit 1".

.This report describes the ISI examinations performed during the time period

.between STPEGS-1 commercial operation on August 25, 1988 and the completion of

-the first; refueling outage (1RE01) on October 19, 1989.

'ISI examinations were performed on selected Class 1, 2, and 3 components 1

-in accordance with the 1983 Edition of ASME Section XI Code with the Summer 1983 Addenda and other regulatory and Code bases as described in the STPEGS-1

= Ten Year ISI Plan. This Summary Report satisfies.the reporting requirements .

.;n of-IWA-6000 of Section XI for welds, steam generator tubing, and component  !

supports and Sections 4.4.5.5(b) and 6.9.2 of the STPEGS Technical Specifications with regard to steam generator tubing inspection.
