Gentlemen:

Attached are revisions to two previously proposed changes to the AN0-1 Technical Specifications. These revisions are at the request of Mr. Guy Vissing of your staff. These revisions, discussed below, affect comon pages of the Technical Specifications. In addition, subsequent to the original requests, some of the affected pages have been revised and issuea ir response to other Technical Specification change requests.

Trerefore, the attached pages incorporate changes to both the Degraded Grid Voltage and Anticipatory Reactor Trip System (ARTS) Technical Specifications with change bars noting changes from the current Technical Specification pages.

By letter dated February 12, 1980, we provided proposed Technical Specifica-ticns for the ARTS. This change request was subsequently revised by our letter of January 29, 1981. The attached pages further revise the proposed change by incorporating the ARTS ~ into Table 3.5.1 Instru.nentation Limiting Conditions for Operation. The inclusion of the ARTS in Table 3.5.1-1 negates the need for the addition to the text on page 42a as proposed in the previous change request. This proposed change for the ARTS system makes the format consistent with other sefety grade equipment.

Mr. J. F. Stolz May 29, 1981 By letter dated February 20, 1981 we submitted proposed Technical Specifica-tions for degraded grid voltaae. The attached pages revise the original request to add upper limits to the undervoltage relays as specified on page 42a, and adds an explanatory note to Table 3.5.1-1.

These proposed changes constitute revisions to previously submitted Tech-nical Specification change requests and therefore require no additional fees.
