Began manual sampling program in accordance with T.S. 3.8.B.8.

Apparent cause of Occurrence:

Failure of iodine detector in CAM-1-90-250.

Analysis cf Occurrence:

There was no danger to the health or safety of the public, no release of activity, no damage to the plant or equipment, and no resulting significant chain of events.

Correct ve Action:

i Replaced iodine detector, repaired, func.tionally tested, and returned CAM to service.
