Identification and Description of Occurrence:

Loss of CT transformer 1 (diff relay) while switching CT switchgear to normal feed.

Conditions Prior to Occurrence:

Unit i refueling outage.

Unit 2 at 100%.

Unit 3 at 100%.

Action specified in the Technical Specification Surveillance Requirements met due to inoperable equipment. Describe.

SI's performed to prove unit 3 diesel generator operable. Units 1 and 2 diesel generator SI's were not performed.

Apparent Cause of Occurrence:

Cause was in accordance with LER-BFRO-50-259/81013.

There was no danger to the health or safety of the public, no release of activity, no damage to the plant or equipment,and no resulting significant chain of events.
