While performing SI 4.2.A-17 channel B of " refueling zone isolation static pressure permissive and static pressure logic systems units 1, 2, and' 3" modulatiag damper 0-PDC 64-8 failed to close.

Conditions ~ Prior to Occurrence:

Unit I at 69T.

Unit 2 at 90%

t'n (t 3 at 92%

Action specified in the Technical Specification Surveillance Requirements met due to inoperable equipment. Describe.

SI 4.2. A-17 for channel A had just been completed.

Apparent Cause of Occurrence:

PDM-64-8 relay contacts did not close.

Analysis of Occurrence:

'Ihere was no damage to plant equipment. There was no activity release, no personnel exposure or injury and no danger to-the health or safety of the public.

Corrective Action

PDM 64-8 relay contacts were adjusted and SI 4.2. A-17 successfully completed.
