The unit was placed in a cold shutdown condition 7 hours8.101852e-5 days <br />0.00194 hours <br />1.157407e-5 weeks <br />2.6635e-6 months <br /> later to investigate the cause of the alarm.

NA App trent Cause of Occurrence:

Low level alarm was caused by shorted wiras from the level switch due to a loss of insulation.

t Anrdysis of Occurrence:

There was no damage to plant equipment. There was no activity release, no personnel exposure or injury and no danger to the health or safety of the public.

Corrective Action

Glass insulation sleeves were added to the wires to isolate the conductors.

Glass insulation will be added to the recirculation pump oil level switches for rema,ining motore during refueling outage.
