Dear Mr. Wilson:
On December 17, 2018, the Reference issued a Notice of Violation (NOV) and Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalty to Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC). WCNOC has chosen to pay the proposed civil penalty of $232,000, and will not protest the civil penalty in whole or in part. The NOV EA-18-037 requires WCNOC to provide a statement indicating when and by what method the payment was made.
On January 3, 2019, WCNOC provided the required payment to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission utilizing the Fedwire Deposit System, in accordance with NUREG/BR-0254.
