Docket Nos.
50-250 and 50-251 Gentleman:
As required by 10 CFR 55.45 (b) (5) (ii) and (b) (5) (vi), attached is the Plant-Referenced Simulator Certification Report.
This report is to be submitted to the Commission every four years and describes the activities of the previous four years, the current status, and plans for the subsequent four years.
The original certification was submitted on January 2,
1991.
Per the requirements of 10 CFR 55.45 (b) (5) (vi), the enclosed report includes a description of the performance tests completed during the previous four years, a description of the performance tests that are different from those in the previous four years, and a schedule for the conduct of approximately 25 percent of the performance tests per year for the next four years.
The outstanding simulator Discrepancy Reports (DRs),
and the schedule for completion of these DRs are also included to meet the requirements of 10 CFR 55.45 (b) (5) (ii).
Changes have been made to the test plan to improve the overall quality of certification testing for the next four year cycle.
A discussion of the basis for the changes is presented and the test plan abstracts for the tests that have been added or changed are included in Appendix A.
