'y FLORIDA POWER 8 LIGHT COMPANY JLN 1 1 1985 L-85-227 Of fice of Nuclear Reactor Regulation Attention: Mr. Steven A. Varga, Chief Operating Reactors Branch /j I Division of Licensing U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, D. C. 20555

Dear Mr. Varga:

Re: Turkey Point Units 3 and 0 Docket Nos. 50-250 and 50-25l Proposed License Amendment Containment Inte rit By letter dated January 28, 1985, and supplemented on March 2, 1985, FPL submitted proposed revisions to the Turkey Point Units 3 and 0 Technical Specifications related to containment systems. In the January 28, 1985 submittal, FPL proposed certain changes to clarify the requirements for operability of the containment air lock during the performance of surveillance and/or other testing of the air lock. To further clarify the intent of that specif ication (T.S. 3.3.0), FPL has added "containment air lock" prior to "surveillance and/or testing requirements". A revised page 3.3-2 reflecting this change is attached.
