Re: Turkey Point Units 3 8I 4 Docket Nos. 50-250 8 50-251 Proposed Auxiliary Feedwater System Technical S ecification Amendment In accordance with 10 CFR 50.30. Florida Power 8I Light Company submits herewith three signed originals and forty copies of a request to amend Appendix A of Facility Operating Licenses DPR-31 and DPR-41.
This proposal is submitted as requested in your letter of October 16, 1979, to develop modifications to limit the time period that one Auxiliary Feedwater System pump and its associated flow train and essential instrumentation can be inoperable. The outage time limit and subsequent action time modifications are as required in current Standard Technical Specifications.
The proposed amendment is described below and shown on the accompanying Technical Specification pages bearing the date of this letter in the lower right hand corner.
~Pe e 3.8-1 Specification 3.8.1.b has been replaced by Specification 3.8.4 for further clarification.
Pa e 3.8-2 Specification 3.8.5 has been added to establish the outage time limits and subsequent action items.
~3.8-The Bases are amended for clarification.
