In accordance with the criteria established by 10 CFR 50.73 entitled Licensee Event ill b i bill LER 315/99-001-00, "General Electric HFA Relays Installed in Emergency Diesel .

Generators May Not Meet Seismic Qualification."

The following commitments have been identified in this submittal:

~ Upon completion of the HFA relay inspection, those relays that are determined to be non-compliant with vendor specifications will be evaluated for seismic performance.

~ Design changes to the nine EDG relays identified will be implemented prior to the EDGs being declared operable.

~ Additional evaluations are required for, the effect on equipment in other plant operating modes.

~ Results of the root cause investigation will be provided in an update to this LER, including information regarding additional corrective actions and/or preventive actions.
