Drive Installation at WNP-2" Attached for your information is a structural evaluation of the effects of the Adjustable Speed Drive on the Reactor Recirculation (RRC) System main pump and motor.
In the referenced letter, the Supply System committed to provide the results of a General Electric evaluation of the impact of harmonics associated with ASD six-pulse operation.
This information is provided as a followup to a question on ASD harmonics posed during a meeting between the Supply System and'the NRC on May 28, 1992.
General Electric considers the information contained in the attached evaluation to be proprietary.
Therefore, in accordance with the requirements of 10CFR2.790(b),
affidavits from both the Supply System and General Electric are enclosed to support withholding the attached evaluation from public disclosure.

1 which is considered by General Electric to contain proprietary information.
Also attached is an affidavit executed by David J. Robare, Project Manager, Plant Licensing, General Electric Company, dated September 2, 1993, which provide the basis on which it is claimed that the subject reports should be withheld from public disclosure under the provisions of 10 CFR 2.790.
The Washington Public Power Supply System treats the subject report as proprietary information on the basis of statements by its owner. In submitting this information to the NRC, the Supply System requests that the subject report be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790.
