Reference:
Letter G02-93-108 dated May 10, 1993, JV Parrish (SS) to NRC, "Request for Amendment to Stability and Power/Flow Sections ofthe Technical Specifications" The Supply System is submitting the COLR 93-9, Rev 0., in accordance with the requirements ofWNP-2 Technical Specification 6.9.3.4.
The changes in the thermal limits resulting from the analyses performed in support of the Cycle 9 COLR have been evaluated against the criteria of 10CFR50.59.
There were no unreviewed safety questions identified and no changes necessary to the Technical Specifications that would need approval of the NRC prior to implementation.
The COLR has been reviewed and approved by the WNP-2 Plant Operating Committee.
The reference requested a change to the power to flow maps contained within the Technical Specifications.
However, prior approval of this change is not required in order to implement the limits specified in the COLR 93-9, Rev. 0.
