2) Letter, G02-89-021, C.M. Powers (SS) to NRC, "Semi-Annual Effluent Report, July 1, 1988-December 31, 1988 and Amendment No. 6 to the Offsite Dose Calculation Manual", dated 2/15/89 On May 19, 1989, the Science Applications International Company informed the Supply System of an analytical error on sample analysis used to develop scaling factors for Dry Active Haste. It is our understanding that Mr. Roy Person (USNRC) is aware of the deficiency.

The first and second Semi-Annual Radioactive Effluent Reports for calendar year 1988 have now been reviewed and revised to reflect the changes in scaling and resulting under reporting of radionuclide activities.
