2 DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLY SYSTEM EMERGENCY RESPONSE FACILITIES Appendix D to NUREG-0892, WNP-2 Safety Evaluation Report, requested a detailed description of how the WNP-2 emergency response facilities conform to the criteria of NUREG-0696, "Functional Criteria for Emergency
Response
Facilities".
The attached document, written in the same format as NUREG-0696, satisfies that request.
The described Emergency
Response
Facilities will aid the Supply System to more effectively:

Diagnose, mitigate and recover from emergency situations;
~
Manage plant operations and emergency response;
~
Keep federal, state and local officials informed, and;
~
Recommend public protective measures to state and local officials.
As described, the Supply System Emergency
Response
Facilities fulfill the ob-jective and purpose of the guidance offered by NUREG-0696.
