Re: St. Lucie Unit I Docket No. SO-335 Proposed License Amendment Snubbers In accordance with IO CFR 50.90, Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) submits herewith a request to amend Facility Operating License DPR-67.

The proposed amendment changes Technical Specification 3/4 7. IO, SNUBBERS, to reflect conclusions reached in Generic Letter 84-l3 (Technical Specification for Snubbers). As a result, St. Lucie Unit I requests to delete snubber listings within the technical specifications.

A marked up copy of the affected Technical Specification pages is included as Attachment I. An Evaluation/Determination of No Significant Hazards Consideration is provided in Attachment 2.

The proposed amendment has been reviewed by the St. Lucie Facility Review Group and the Florida Power & Light Company Nuclear Review Board.

ln accordance with IO CFR 50.9 l(b)(l), a copy of the proposed amendment is being forwarded to the State Designee of the State of Florida.

In accordance with IO CFR I70.2I, FPL Check No. 4538 is attached as remittance for the license amendment application fee.
