I and 2 Docket Nos. 50-335 and 50-389 Generic Letter 83-37 NUREG 0737 Technical S ecifications In accordance with IO CFR 50.90, Florida Power & Light Company submits herewith three signed originals and forty copies of a request to amend Appendix A of Facility Operating Licenses DPR-67 and NPF-I6.
This request for a license amendment to St. Lucie Units I
and 2 Technical Specification adds instrumentation required by NUREG-0737 to the accident monitoring instrumentation tables..
St.
Lucie Unit I
will add lncore Thermocouples, Containment Sump Water Level (narrow and wide ranges),
Containment Pressure and Reactor Vessel Level Monitoring System to tables 3.3-I I and 4.3-7.
St. Lucie Unit 2 will add the Reactor Vessel Level Monitoring system to tables 3.3-IO and 4.3-7.
Also, the appropriate Operability and Action Statements have been added.
These additions are indicated on the Tech Spec pages included as Attachments I and 2.
A no significant hazards evaluation has been performed as required by IO CFR 50.9 I and 92 and is provided as Attachment 3.
This request includes all of the changes requested by our letter L-84-295 dated December 3, l984, and therefore, supercedes that application.
The proposed amendment has been reviewed by the St. Lucie Plant Facility Review Group and the Florida Power & L'ight Company Nuclear Review Board.
Li In accordance with I 0 CFR 50.9I(b)(l), a copy of the proposed amendment is being forwarded to the state designee for the State of Florida.

The Unit I application fee was submitted on April 17, 1985 (L-85-160), for the Amendment request submitted on December 3, 1984 (L-84-295), which this application supercedes.
