Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Docket Number 72-0058 Changes to the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan. Safeguards Contingency Plan. and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Security Program Pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(p), Northern States Power Company-Minnesota (NSPM) doing business as Xcel Energy submits, Revision 18 of the Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, Safeguards Contingency Plan, and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Security Program (here after referred to as the Security Plan). The changes were ~ffective on May 26, 2017.
A summary of changes is provided in Enclosure 1. THe revised Security Plan is provided in. In accordance with 10 CFR 73.21, the information contained in the Enclosures should be withheld from public disclosure as it is classified as Safeguards Information.
The revision*of the plan removes the use of handguns at Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant (MNGP). NSPM has reviewed the changes in this revision of the Security Plan and determined that they do not decrease the effectiveness of the Security Pl~n.
