Dear Sir or Madam:
On January 12, 2015, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) forwarded a draft Confirmatory Order with regard to the Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (Entergy) request that the Commission permit the transfer, receipt, possession, transport, import, and use of certain weapons and mass capacity ammunition feeding devices under Section 161A of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended. The NRC requested Entergy consent to the proposed order and waiver of the right to a hearing.
Entergy consents to the issuance of Confirmatory Orders EA-14-135 and EA-14-136, effective immediately upon issuance. In consenting to Confirmatory Orders EA-14-135 and EA-14-136, Entergy agrees to waive the right to request a hearing on all or any part of the confirmatory orders. This consent and waiver is formalized in the Enclosure to this letter.
On January 12, 2015, the NRC also sent proposed a proposed License Condition associated with the conforming amendment for approval of the request for preemption. Entergy finds this proposed License Condition acceptable. The License condition is:
ENO has been granted Commission authorization to use "stand alone preemption authority" under Section 161A of the Atomic Energy Act, 42 U.S.C. 2201a with respect to the weapons described in Section II supplemented with Section III of

NL-15-007 Docket Nos.50-003, 50-247 and 50-286 Page 2 of 2 Attachment 1 to its application submitted by letter dated August 20, 2013, as supplemented by letters dated November 21, 2013, and July 24, 2014, and citing letters dated April 27, 2011, and January 4, 2012. ENO shall fully implement and maintain in effect the provisions of the Commission approved authorization.
