Notification of Implementation of License Renewal Activities in Preparation for Entrance into Period of Extended Operation for Unit 1 Pursuant to Operating License Conditions 2.c(20) and 2.c(21), the following activities are implemented at TMINS for Unit 1:
Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) Revision (2.c(20)) - The license renewal supplement was added to Revision 20 of the UFSAR as Appendix A and submitted to the NRC in the routine UFSAR update in 2010.
NRC Notification of Appendix A completion 2.c(21) - This letter serves as the notification to the NRC in writing that Three Mile Island Unit 1 has completed the activities required to be completed prior to entering the Period of Extended Operation in accordance with Appendix A of NUREG-1 928, "Safety Evaluation Report Related to the License Renewal of Three Mile Island, Unit 1," dated, October, 2009.
