Dear Sir or Madam:

In Reference 1, the NRC issued the Request for Information for Near-Term Task Force Recommendations related to the Fukushima Dai-ichi accident. In Reference 2, Energy Northwest committed to submit a final report documenting the results of the flooding walkdowns no later than November 27, 2012. The enclosure to this letter provides the Flood Protection Final Report. It is noted that inspections of the necessary areas were completed during the walkdown activities. There were no inaccessible areas and no additional walkdowns are required.

This letter contains no new regulatory commitments. If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact Mr. Z. K. Dunham at (509) 377-4735.
