On March 12, 2012, the NRC issued Reference 1 to all power reactor licensees and holders of construction permits in active or deferred status. Enclosure 3 of Reference 1 contains specific Requested Actions, Requested Information, and Required Responses associated with Recommendation 2.3 for Seismic. This letter. provides the 120-day response to Reference 1 for Seismic Recommendation 2.3 for Indiana Michigan Power (I&M), licensee for the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant (CNP) Units 1 and 2.

For seismic Recommendation 2.3 (walkdowns), Enclosure 3 of Reference 1 states that each licensee will confirm they intend to use the NRC-endorsed seismic walkdown procedure or provide to the NRC a description of the process thatwill be used to conduct the walkdowns and develop the needed information.
