OPPD 120-Day Response to NRC Request for Information Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(f) Regarding Recommendation 2.3: Seismic of the Near Term Task Force Review of Insights from the Fukushima Dai-ichi Accident On March 12, 2012, the NRC issued Reference 2 to all power reactor licensees and holders of construction permits in active or deferred status. Reference 2, Enclosure 3, Recommendation 2.3: Seismic requires that within 120 days, addressees must confirm that they intend to use the NRC-endorsed seismic walkdown procedure or provide the NRC with a description of the process that will be used to conduct the walkdowns and develop the necessary information.

Therefore, the Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) hereby confirms that EPRI Report 1025286, Seismic Walkdown Guidance For Resolution of Fukushima Near-Term Task Force Recommendation 2.3: Seismic, as endorsed by the NRC in Reference 3 will be used to conduct the seismic walkdowns and develop the necessary information for Fort Calhoun Station.

This letter contains no new regulatory commitments.
