Staff from the NRC and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, will discuss their Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) in meetings to be held from 1:30-4:30 p.m. and 7-10 p.m., Thursday, September 23, at the Plantation Inn, 9301 West Fort Island Trail in Crystal River. The NRC will transcribe the meetings and post the transcript on the agencys website at: http://www.nrc.gov/reactors/new-reactors/col/levy.html. NRC staff will be available for informal discussions with members of the public during open house sessions from 12:3-1:30 p.m.

The DEIS is available on the agency website at: http://www.nrc.gov/reactors/new-reactors/col/levy.html. The DEIS is also available via the NRCs electronic document database, ADAMS, by entering accession numbers ML102140231 and ML102140235 in the ADAMS search engine at: http://adamswebsearch.nrc.gov/dologin.htm. In addition, a hardbound copy of the DEIS will be available for public inspection at four local libraries: 1) the Citrus County Coastal Region Library at 8619 West Crystal St. in Crystal River; 2) the Dunnellon Branch Library at 20351 Robinson Road in Dunnellon, Fla.; 3) the AF Knotts Public Library at 11 56th St. in Yankeetown, Fla.; and 4) the Bronson Public Library at 600 Gilbert St. in Bronson, Fla.
