COLUMBIA GENERATING STATION, DOCKET NO. 50-397 2009 ANNUAL ENVIRONMENTAL OPERATING REPORT

Dear Sir or Madam:

This letter is submitted per the reporting requirements of Section 5.4.1 of the Columbia Generating Station Environmental Protection Plan (EPP; Appendix B to Operating License NPF-21).

There were no EPP noncompliances in 2009 and there were no design or operational changes or tests that involved an unreviewed environmental question. No non-routine, non-radiological reports (within the context of EPP Section 5.4.2) were required for 2009. A summary of the effluent data reported to the State of Washington on the monthly discharge monitoring reports is attached.
