Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC (NextEra) requested to amend Renewed Facility Operating Licenses DPR-24 and DPR-27 for Point Beach Nuclear Plant (PBNP), Units I and 2, respectively, via Reference (1). The proposed amendment reflects the corporation name change from FPL Energy Point Beach, LLC to NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC, effective April 16, 2009.
Reference (1) corrected a typographical error within a License Condition contained in Appendix C of Renewed Facility Operating Licenses DPR-24 and DPR-27. The correction changed FPLE Group Capital to the appropriately titled FPL Group Capital.
Reference (I) did not describe the correction of the typographical error in the description of changes. Therefore, the purpose of this supplement is to document the need for the requested correction of the Appendix C License Condition typographical error.
Enclosure I provides the corresponding marked up Appendix C license pages transmitted to the NRC in Reference (1). Enclosure 2 provides the corresponding revised (clean) Appendix C license pages transmitted to the NRC in Reference (I).
This supplement to License Amendment Request 250 contains no new Regulatory Commitments and no revisions to existing Regulatory Commitments.
The PBNP Plant Operations Review Committee has reviewed the proposed license amendment request supplement.
