Letter from D . M . Hoots (Exelon Generation Company, LLC) to U. S.

Nuclear Regulatory Commission, "Relaxation Request From First Revised NRC Order EA-03-009 Establishing Interim Inspection Requirements for Reactor Pressure Vessel Heads at Pressurized Water Reactors," dated August 30, 2007 The purpose of this letter is to provide a clarification regarding the proprietary content of information contained in the referenced submittal . The cover letter of the referenced submittal states in part that : "Attachment 1 contains Westinghouse proprietary information" ; however, this is not the case . Attachment 1 to the referenced submittal contains information excerpted from the proprietary version of WCAP-16349, "Structural Integrity Evaluation of Reactor Vessel Upper Head Penetrations to Support Continued Operation : Byron and Braidwood Units 1 and 2." However, this same information is contained in the non-proprietary version of WCAP-16349 and is not considered proprietary to Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC. Therefore, the referenced submittal can be made publicly available in its entirety.
