GE held a press conference on July 24, 1987 at which time GE made the report.public. GE also provided copies of the two-volume Reed Report to NRC for response to the current i F0IA requests we received for the report. A copy of the two-volume report which GE-made available to NRC is enclosed.
Also enclosed is a copy of NUREG-1285 "NRC Staff Evaluation of the General Electric Company Nuclear Reactor Study (" Reed Report").
The NRC staff is not aware of a Brookhaven Lab report containing portions of the GE J Reed Report.
