ENCLOSURE 1 NOTICE OF DEVIATION Virginia Electric and Power Company Docket Nos. 50-338 and 50-339 North Anna Units 1 and 2 License Nos. NPF-4 and NPF-7 The following deviation was identified during an inspection conducted on September 9-13, 1985.

Section 8.3 of the North Anna Power Station FSAR states that the damming material used in conjunction with RTV Silicone Foam to form fire stop seals in fire barrier walls is to be left in place as part of the permanent seal. .

Contrary to the above, several conduit fire stop penetration seals located in the fire barrier wall that separates the Emergency Switchgear Rooms and i Instrument Rack Rooms (Fire Area 6-1) from the Turbine Builoing (Fire Area 8) did not have the fire seal daming material in place.

Please provide, in writing within 30 days of the date of this Notice, a descrip-tion of corrective actions regarding this deviations, actions taken to avoid further deviations, and the dates when these actions were or will be completed.

Security or safeguards information should be submitted as an enclosure to facili-tate withholding it from public disclosure as required by 10 CFR 2.790(d) or 10 CFR 73.21.
