DOCKETS 50-266 and 50-301 REPLY TO IE INSPECTION REPORT 50-266/83-05 and 50-301/83-05 POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT UNITS 1 and 2 This is in response to your letter regarding the routine safeguards inspection conducted by Mr. G. Pirtle and Ms. G. Christoffer of your office on February 7-11, 1983.
As you indicate in your report, certain activities appeared to be in non-compliance with NRC requirements. Items (a) and (b) of the Notice of Violation are addressed in the enclosure to this letter. Additional items of concern that you expressed in the detail section of your report have been addressed by the licensee. They have not been delineated in the enclosure, but will be available for your future review.
