Dear Sir or Madam:

In accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b)(5), 10 CFR 50.54(q)(5), 10 CFR 72.4, and 10 CFR 72.44(f), the Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO) Emergency Plan (EPlan) Emergency Action Level Classification procedure has been revised and is included in Attachment 2 to this letter.

A summary of the changes to the implementing procedure is included in Attachment 1 of this letter.

The screening and/or evaluation concluded that the changes do not reduce the effectiveness of the EPlan, and the EPlan continues to meet the standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and 10 CFR 50, Appendix E.
