U.S.Nuclear Regulatory Commission November 16,2010 Page 2 In Reference 2, the NRC forwarded requests for additional information (RAls)concerning the Reference 1 license amendment request.The requested information was provided in Reference 3.On November 10, 2010, a teleconference was held between NRC Division of Operating Reactor Licensing personnel and EGC.During this teleconference, the NRC indicated that the license amendment request could not be approved based on the information provided to date by EGC.Based on this feedback, EGC is withdrawing the license amendment request and requests the NRC to provide the specific issues remaining to be resolved.There are no regulatory commitments contained in this letter.Should you have any questions concerning this letter, please contact Mr.Timothy A Byam at (630)657-2804.nsen Man ge-Licensing Exelo Generation company, LLC
