DPR-29 and DPR-30 for Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station (QCNPS}, Units 1 and 2, respectively. The proposed change revises Technical Specification 5.5.12, "Primary Containment Leakage Rate Testing Program," to allow for the permanent extension of the Type A Integrated Leak Rate Testing (ILRT} and Type C Leak Rate Testing frequencies. Supplemental information was provided to the NRG in Reference 2.

In light of discussions with the NRG on December 22, 2016, EGG has elected to withdraw the proposed license amendment request.

In accordance with 10 CFR 50.91, "Notice for public comment; State consultation,"

paragraph (b}, EGG is notifying the State of Illinois of this withdrawal by transmitting a copy of this letter to the designated State Official.
