Dear Mr. McCree:

In response to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) letter dated January 9, 2014, from Mr. Malcolm T. Widmann, NRC, to Mr. William R. Gideon, Duke Energy Progress, Inc.,

H. B. Robinson Steam Electric Plant (HBRSEP), Unit No. 2, requests to have ten (10) individuals take the PWR Generic Fundamentals, Examination (GFE) section of the written operator licensing examination to be administered on June 4, 2014. The names of these applicants are listed in the attachment to this letter. The listed personnel are enrolled in the HBRSEP, Unit No.

2, operator licensing training program and will complete the generic fundamentals portion of the program on June 2, 2014.

The following personnel will have access to the examinations before they are administered:

Mr. Robert Adams, Manager Nuclear Operations Training Mr. Mike Anderson, Nuclear Station Instructor.- Operations Duke Energy Progress, Inc. requests that the information in the attachment be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 2.390(a)(6) since the disclosure of this information would constitute an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.
